Everything started out well and the flight to Heathrow was uneventful until we were due to land and ended up having to circle due to heavy traffic at the airport caused by bad weather. We were anxious about making our rather tight connection to Madrid and then another tight connection onto San Sebastian. Turns out that our flight to Madrid was also delayed so we made that ok but that made us miss our connection to San Sebastian. British airways put us up in a hotel on the outskirts of Madrid. We had dinner and fell asleep without too much trouble as we were very tired after about 40 hours of traveling. Our bags didn't arrive either so we're hoping they'll catch up with us sometime today in San Sebastian. We're really looking forward to changing out of these clothes.
